Yeovil Literary Prize - Writing Competition

THE International 2010 YEOVIL LITERARY PRIZE is open for

ONLINE and POSTAL ENTRIES!

 

OPPORTUNITIES FOR NOVELISTS, POETS

 AND SHORT STORY WRITERS

 

Novelists, do you find it hard to discover a prize with a category for you? Look no further. The YEOVIL LITERARY PRIZE is open to poets and short story writers as well as novelists, with the top prize for the first three chapters and a synopsis being £1000.

 

The Yeovil Literary Prize can be entered online or by post.  Prizes are significant, the judges are all professional writers.

 

Several winning entrants have gone on to success!

2009 Competition Results

The 2009 Competition Results are now published and can be viewed by
selecting Prize 2009 from the Results menu.
Local Prize - Our congratulations to Anne Dowds for her short story The Going; this year’s winner of the Western Gazette Literary Award. The Going was Highly Commended in the main competition. The Local Prize is awarded to the best entry, in any category, by a local author.
Details of the 2010 Competition will be published later in the year. The
Competition will again be open for entries in the Novel, Short Story and Poetry categories
